BCPI as a federal non-profit addressing the supply needs for affordable rental housing in Atlantic Canada. Since 2022, BCPI has advanced a portfolio of community‑driven housing initiatives, including mixed‑income rental projects (of which 60% of the units are RGI thanks to rent supplement agreements offered by the Government of New Brunswick), student residences, and early‑learning (daycare) facilities. We’ve accomplished these milestones with the support of municipalities, the Governments of Canada and New Brunswick, social impact investors, and social service providers. Our current portfolio consists of 40 rental apartment units, 17 detached homes and a 26,000 SF former senior citizen centre that we purchased from the Government of New Brunswick that now houses a student housing complex and a daycare. Our portfolio pipeline (including shovel ready and predevelopment projects) is127 rental apartments.
