Human Impact Story

I am very thankful to have been able to receive help through the partnership of Safe Harbour Outreach and Belleterre. With the crazy high inflation and rapidly increasing rent, alongside the housing crisis; I was not expecting it to be easy to find a safe, affordable home for my children and I (and certainly not as fast!) This partnership has provided a smooth transition for my children and I to have a nice spot to settle into and call home after living in a not-so-ideal situation prior to finding Safe Harbour. I hope that there will continue to be funding, so more women and children are able to get back on their feet after suffering from domestic violence. Programs like these offer hope to women for a fresh start, and for that I am truly grateful.
