LYNC is innovating a rural housing solution, converting a historic mill in New Hamburg into a 31 unit affordable mixed market equitable housing community. Our vision is to create beautiful spaces where intergenerational communities will thrive. Our mission is to revitalize people and rural communities through equitable housing and social enterprise. Revitalization will take a 3-pronged approach: Economic Development- LYNC is committed to improving the rural towns where our communities are located; Community Living-Caring for each other and the earth around, LYNC will collaborate with local partners in mental health, food security and family support by providing space for them to serve our tenants and the greater community; and Equitable Housing- Incorporating values of inclusion and equal access to opportunity. The Millblock will serve a diverse, intergenerational population, of singles, families, seniors and people who are differently abled in a setting close to all amenities.
