Jewish Family and Child Service’s (JF&CS) mission is a multi-service agency that strengthens and supports individuals, children and families, serving the Jewish community and all others who seek support. JF&CS serves Toronto and York Region across four locations and 30+ programs, and our purpose is to provide wrap-around supports within our three priority areas: 1) Safety and Security; 2) Poverty Reduction; and 3) Mental Health and Wellness. JF&CS has an established Housing Program that provides housing support related to housing searching, completion of housing applications, housing viewing, landlord support, case management, and eviction prevention which includes financial assistance for costs including first/last month’s rent, moving, household items, beds/mattresses, emergency needs, and more. JF&CS reaches approximately 27,941 clients and community members per year, and 174 annually within our Housing Program. We are seeking affordable housing partners.
