Impakt Foundation for Social Change is a Toronto-based non-profit serving refugees and refugee claimants, with a focus on Black African newcomers. Our mission is to ensure refugees can build stable, dignified lives in Canada through our Integrated Newcomer Services (INS) model — a refugee-led, trust-based approach that delivers wraparound support across employment, credential recognition, mental health, and community connection. Impakt operates the Refugee Shelter Hub inside a 400+ resident Homes First shelter, and has conducted participatory research with 70+ refugees and service providers and consultations with 40+ settlement organizations to inform our model. We are seeking partnerships with private-market landlords, settlement and housing providers, and funders aligned with sustainable, evidence-based approaches to refugee housing.
