The Camrose and Area Housing and Homelessness Task Force serves the City and County of Camrose and 17 surrounding municipalities. It is a collaborative initiative focused on creating actionable solutions to housing insecurity through advocacy, programming, funding, and development. The Task Force works to move beyond discussion and implement meaningful responses that improve access to safe, secure, and affordable housing for all residents, while shaping a long-term vision for housing security in the region. Membership includes organizations and representatives from Habitat for Humanity, The Bethany Group, Camrose City Council and Administration, Camrose County, Camrose Public Library, Primary Care Network, Camrose Police and Crisis Team (PACT), Women’s Shelter, CDFCSS, Sitler Property Management, RCMP, Recovery Alberta, and the Canadian Mental Health Association.
