Hinton Adult Learning Society (H.E.L.P.) is a community-based nonprofit serving Hinton and surrounding rural areas. Our mission is to empower and advocate for individuals to learn, grow, and overcome barriers in a supportive, inclusive environment. We deliver integrated programs in employment services, adult learning, housing and homelessness supports, food security, and FASD/PCAP services. We primarily serve individuals facing multiple barriers, including those at risk of homelessness, low-income households, and individuals with mental health challenges or disabilities. Through initiatives such as Freddy’s Resource Room, housing supports, and employment services, we provide wraparound supports that promote stability and independence. H.E.L.P. actively seeks partnerships with community organizations, landlords, service providers, and funders to strengthen coordinated responses to housing and social needs.
