CFN is a Calgary-based non-profit organization that helps newcomers and vulnerable populations build safe, stable, and successful lives in Canada. Through a client-centred, trauma-informed approach, CFN provides settlement, housing, employment, language, youth, family, and community integration services. CFN serves permanent residents and temporary residents, LGBTQ+ newcomers, women fleeing violence, youth, seniors, and underserved communities across Calgary and surrounding areas. Housing supports include housing navigation, affordable housing referrals, tenancy education, homelessness prevention, emergency and short-term support, and culturally responsive settlement services. CFN collaborates with more than 600 community partners, including affordable housing providers, health and mental health agencies, employers, educational institutions, and funders, to strengthen coordinated supports, improve stability, and advance newcomer inclusion and long-term community integration.
