DESCRIPTION
The 100 Palliser project is a purpose-built affordable rental housing development located in the Palliser neighbourhood of Canmore, Alberta. The project delivers 144 below-market rental homes across two residential buildings, significantly increasing the supply of attainable housing in a community facing severe housing affordability pressures. The development includes a mix of unit types designed to support individuals, couples, and families who live and work in the Bow Valley, along with shared amenity space and on-site parking. Delivered by Canmore Community Housing in partnership with public sector funders and community stakeholders, the project supports long-term housing stability for the local workforce. By expanding the supply of secure, below-market rental homes, 100 Palliser strengthens the community’s ability to retain workers, support local businesses, and maintain a diverse and resilient year-round population in Canmore.
